Funding / Cost
Somalia’s very stretched education sector has little spare capacity to teach beyond core subjects. Yet given the history of civil unrest we contend that civic education is a core subject.
Funding / Cost:
We welcome support from donors whose aims align with ours and aim to respect our prime directives so that we maintain our independence. Meaning Minbar as an organization maintains the lead on the scale and type of programs we run. So far, we do not have any external funding, so we are meeting costs out of pocket among the founders.
