Why was the Aden Adde Fellowship created?
Somalia's future depends on a generation of leaders who embrace integrity, inclusion, innovation, and responsible leadership. The Aden Adde Fellowship was established to nurture emerging leaders by providing them with the tools, mentorship, and experiences necessary to create meaningful change within their communities and institutions.
Drawing inspiration from President Aden Abdulle Osman's commitment to democratic values, the fellowship equips participants to lead with purpose while strengthening national unity and civic engagement.
What do fellows gain from the program?
Throughout the fellowship, participants will engage with experienced leaders, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners while developing practical leadership competencies, including:

How does the fellowship work?

Upon successful completion of the program, fellows will receive an official Aden Adde Fellowship Certificate and become part of the fellowship's growing alumni community.
